Key Features of LogRay® tags

Authentication:

The unique identification number of each tag is recorded in the database, which ensures the authenticity of the tag and prevents it from changing or reposing. Optionally, data encryption during reading the tag is also possible.

Indelible tagging:

The tag is indelible, which means that it cannot be removed without destroying it. This feature not only prevents theft, but also ensures the integrity of wood assortment tracking process and enhances the robustness of data processing on the transport chain.

Robust and versatile application:

The LogRay® tag utilizes the UHF RFID frequency technology. This allows it to be read from a distance without direct contact, even when it is not within the line of sight of an observer. With a typical reading range, of 100 cm along a longer axis and 35 cm perpendicular to the tag, these features enhance convenience, efficiency, and reliability in tracing and managing wood assortments across various environments and in all weather conditions.

Durable construction and longevity:

The tag is ideal for various usage scenarios in diverse environments and all weather conditions such as rain, snow and ice.

Battery-free operation:

Using RFID technology, the tag enables its operation only by using the energy of the reader. Therefore, no battery is required for operation, which would burden the environment. This feature contributes to the sustainability of Simtrona d.o.o.'s products.

Acceptable machinability:

The tag is made of a material with similar mechanical properties to wood, so even when the tag is cut, it does not damage tools such as a chainsaw chain, saw blade, ax, or other tools used in woodworking practice.
